Xbox 360 Repair
Xbox 360 failure usually occurs because of overheating. This is attributed to a design flaw in the console which makes use of vented openings, fans and heat sinks to rid the system of potentially harmful overheating. System crashing can occur when the flow of air becomes obstructed and the components of the Xbox overheat. To prevent this from happening, make sure your Xbox is kept in an open area free of obstructions and debris.
Microsoft has also stated that overheating can also be caused by the Nyko Intercooler. The intercooler drains so much power from the console that it leads to hardware failure, at times even scorching the power AC input.
A final cause of Xbox failure relates to the Graphics Processing Unit (GUP). Every time the GUP heats up, the motherboard flexes causing soldering to loosen and leading to hardware damage.
